Welcome to another Heart2Heart Monday!  For this week's challenge, we are visiting the different products and techniques "Trending Now" in the world.  From watercolors, alcohol markers, shaker cards, pocket scrapbooking and 3D papercrafting or your favorite new top, this is your opportunity to share your scrapbook layouts, cards or other paper crafting projects showcasing our theme.

You will have all month long to participate in any (or all) of this month's challenges!  We're excited with what we're already seeing for our first November challenge, and we know this will be no exception.

Through the Window

Have you ever looked through the window and wondered what was on the other side? This week at Heart 2 Heart, we are challenging you to do just that! There are many ways to look "through the window" in the paper crafting world - our Design Team will show you some of them. There is the hole in the card or layout approach, the view through a window, a clear box or bag, but these are only a few possibilities... there are many more!

Please Welcome Our November Guest Designer!

You may have noticed that we have been without a guest designer for a few months due to various reasons, so we are especially thrilled to have the lovely and talented Hansi Brittain joining us as our November guest designer!

The creative process soothes my soul.  Who can think about the complications of life when you are creating?  I fell in with a group of amazing women who get together for fellowship, fun and paper crafting.   One day, a friend invited me to a monthly group to which she belonged ...just for fun.. .no need to buy anything…  Yeah, right!  I loved the Close to My Heart products.  It was in monthly group that I discovered card making which has become both therapy and ministry.  After I get the pleasure of making something, I can brighten someone’s day by giving it away.  By participating in challenge blogs, I have learned so much from fellow crafters who share their work and techniques. I am honored and humbled to be the guest designer this month.

Cricut Capers

Hello, crafters, Cynthia here. I shudder to remember what papercrafting was like before the Cricut. That ingenious little machine -- no matter which version I'm using -- helps me make with paper what I see in my head but cannot get my hands to cooperate to make a reality. It also helps me easily and quickly make A LOT of identical things -- invitations, party favors, decorations, to name a few. Close To My Heart makes crafting with the Cricut even easier because the company's exclusive cartridges contain hundreds of images each and many of them have coordinating stamps that fit on the cut-to-size paper.

The Heart 2 Heart Design Team's Cricuts were humming last week as the members prepared examples for this week's challenge: Cricut Capers.

Home is....

This week at H2H challenges we are taking a look at our hometowns. Some of us still live there and some of us have moved away. This week's challenge enables to us to take a look at the areas that helped us shape who we are today. Big or small, near or far, good or bad... our home towns play a huge role in the people we become so this week we are paying homage to that part of our lives. Let us see the area you grew up in, live in, or are from. Share your favourite memories, places, events....what ever you like. Just have fun with it and let it take you where ever it takes you!
