"Put Your Green On" Partnership with Double Trouble Challenge #51

To kick off March, we are partnering with the Double Trouble Challenge Blog and are "Putting our Green On!"  Are you ready to join both challenge blogs?  (In fact, we are waiving our Close To My Heart requirement for this challenge only, and you have until the end of the month to link up!)

WELCOME to Double Trouble Challenge #51 partnership with Heart2Heart Challenges - Let the Troubles Begin 

"PUT YOUR GREEN ON" 

THING 1:  Trouble Maker says, "Let's celebrate St. Patty's day and Put Your Green On.  What better color than to create a St. Patty's Day project, or not.  However, make sure you have some green on your project...other colors can be used.

THING 4:  Twisted Sister's Twin says, "My Irish friends often say 'May rainbow be certain to follow each rain' and sometimes the rainbow will lead to a pot of gold.  So, include something gold on your project (i.e. embellishment, gold metallic, ribbon, embossing, etc.) 

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

THING 2:  Double Dare

says, "You can link your project to Heart2Heart "The Wearin' of the Green" HERE whether you use Twisted Sister's Twin optional twist or not, and you will receive an additional chance at the Double Trouble Random Draw.  

Heart2Heart encourages the use of at least one Close To My Heart product; This requirement has been waived for our partnering.  However, if you do use any CTMH products you will be eligible for another chance at Double Trouble's random draw.  

Heart2Heart has weekly theme challenges and you are able to enter up to the last day of the month; however, our partnership at Double Trouble for closes on March 15th.

Color Challenge: Candy Apple

Welcome to the first post of July! 

It is a time of celebration in both Canada and the US this week - July 1st is Canada Day (obviously in Canada) and July 4th is Independence Day in the US. Both of these dates are of historical significance in the two countries and each has one thing in common - the colour RED!

Our challenge this week is a color challenge - and that is to use the color CANDY APPLE. 

Candy Apple is a Close To My Heart colour and it is a bold red. You may certainly use other colors in your project but we do ask that the FOCAL color is Candy Apple.

Let's take a look at how the design team used this color in their projects.
