Life is GOOD

Summertime and the livin' (and craftin') is easy!

Maybe it's eating fresh produce from your garden or farmers' market or barbecue with friends. Maybe it's a family vacation or a lazy day reading and napping in a hammock or visiting on a porch swing. Perhaps it is celebrating a wedding or birthday any time of year. We scrapbook all kinds of moments to help us remember the good times. Looking back, we can probably say that despite its sometimes unpleasant difficulties, for the most part, life is good.

What does living the good life mean to you? Show us how your Life is GOOD by making a papercrafting or digital project -- be sure to use at least some Close To My Heart supplies -- and link up your blog to Heart 2 Heart Challenges. For this challenge, you'll have to hurry! All July challenges close July 31. This is the final challenge in the "Life is" series. Come back next week for the first August challenge on a different theme.

June's Scrapbook Challenge: Everyday Journeys

Each month, we are throwing down a challenge specifically for your scrapbookers.  You do NOT have to be a scrapper to join us!  You can create anything that uses a photo (or a story you want to preserve): a layout, a mini album, home decor, etc.  So what is June's challenge?  We want to see those everyday journeys.  Create a project all about an everyday life moment or personal journey you can share. We always scrapbook the special events and about everyone else. Now it's time to have a page or two about you. Make this a fun project for the scrapbook for future generations to see that you're not just a parent, grandparent, family member, or professional scrapbooker. Show us your inner diva, or that fun flying-by-your-pants person you know you are, or the journey you walk daily to make life better for yourself.

         * Incorporate (at least one) CTMH Flip Flaps.

         * Use at least 1 photo (required).

March Scrapbook Challenge: Cricut Me March

Chirp!  Chirp!  It's time to get those Cricut machines cranked up!  (Has anyone gotten the new Explore?!?)  Our March scrapbook challenge is to get those Cricut machines whirring.  Create a 12" x 12" page layout (or double-page layout) involving cuts, mats, or overlays with one, two, or all three of our CTMH Cricut Cartridges~Art Philosophy, Artiste, or Artbooking. You choose your theme this month using at least one of the CTMH Cricut cartridges. You must use at least one photo on your layout.

*NEW* Monthly Scrapbooking Challenges Begins TODAY!

Here at Heart 2 Heart Challenges, we have something NEW up our sleeves (or from our craft bag?) for 2014!  We are issuing a monthly scrapbooking challenge in addition to our regular weekly Monday challenges!  You will have the entire month to play along with the month's theme.  (You can find the monthly challenge by clicking on the H2H Scrapbooking tab at the top or click HERE).  That's also where you'll find the InLinkz link up tool to add your submission.)  We'll be selecting at least one of our Top 10 monthly winners (and possibly our Top Chick) from our scrapbooking contestants, so get those memories preserved, CTMH-style, and link up before the month is out.

Our January challenge is Sentimental January.

           * 12" x 12" page layout(s) involving a sentimental moment with friends, family, or pets (past or present).

           * Must use a CTMH Exclusive Stamp Set featuring a sentiment, and let's see some journaling. 

           * At least 1 photo is required.

In honor of National Scrapbooking Day today and the entire National Scrapbooking Month (which is how we paper addicts refer to the 5th month of the year), we are encouraging all of you Heart 2 Heart players to share a favorite layout (old or new) with us!  Use the "scrapbooking" tab to link up your layout.  Remember to follow our H2H guidelines of using some CTMH products in your project.  Please also mention in your post that you're sharing with us at H2H for NSM 2013.
