Welcome to this week's Heart2Heart Challenge!

This week's theme is Hello Lovely, inspired by the new Hello Lovely Paper Packet from Close To My Heart's Seasonal Expressions Catalog.  The entire Hello Lovely line which includes the paper packet, coordinating cardstock, complements, gems, ribbons an awesome Workshop Your Way Kit is now available for a limited time through Close To My Heart.

We invite you to share cards, scrapbook layouts or any other great craft projects using this week's theme, if you don't have any of the Hello Lovely products from Close To My Heart, don't worry, use any Close To My Heart products that can best interpret your version of this week's theme.

Cricut Capers

Hello, crafters, Cynthia here. I shudder to remember what papercrafting was like before the Cricut. That ingenious little machine -- no matter which version I'm using -- helps me make with paper what I see in my head but cannot get my hands to cooperate to make a reality. It also helps me easily and quickly make A LOT of identical things -- invitations, party favors, decorations, to name a few. Close To My Heart makes crafting with the Cricut even easier because the company's exclusive cartridges contain hundreds of images each and many of them have coordinating stamps that fit on the cut-to-size paper.

The Heart 2 Heart Design Team's Cricuts were humming last week as the members prepared examples for this week's challenge: Cricut Capers.

Doodling

This week at Heart 2 Heart we have a new fun challenge we hope you will participate in!  We are trying to inspire you this month with several technique challenges.  This week, we are asking you to incorporate "Doodling" into your artwork this week.  Doodling is incorporated more and more into fun designs and it will be enjoyable to see how you interpret this topic.  As always, you have the entire month to participate in any of the weekly challenges for the month.

Coloring Challenge

Welcome to a NEW Challenge at Heart 2 Heart! Now through the end of the month we challenge you to create a project using "Coloring". Bust out those Shin Han Markers, Watercolors, Colored Pencils, Blending Pens and see what happens! We can't wait to see what you create!

September Color Challenge

What's a challenge blog to do when the very last day of the month is also the Monday to introduce a new challenge?  We didn't think it would be fair to give you less than 24 hours to participate in a challenge (because all of our challenges end on the last day of the month), so instead we are giving you a peek today at our amazingly beautiful (if we do say so ourselves) September color challenge.  Tomorrow (September 1), you'll find our Design Team's inspiration with this color challenge and the InLinkz link up tool to add your beautiful creations.

Isn't this picture and color scheme lovely?  We encourage you to combine Cranberry, Sunset, Glacier, Lagoon, and Topiary, and we can't wait to see what blossoms.

CAS - Clean and simple

Are you ready for another great challenge?  This is our final one for this month! We are so ready to see what you all come up with for this week's challenge. Your challenge, should you decide to accept it, is to create a project that is CAS - Clean and Simple. 

What is Clean and Simple? To most it is minimalistic, little to no embellishments, less is more style. How do you define Clean and Simple? What is your style? Will this be a challenge for you, or is this right up your alley? We are excited to see not only your project but also your take on the Clean and Simple style.

June's Scrapbook Challenge: Everyday Journeys

Each month, we are throwing down a challenge specifically for your scrapbookers.  You do NOT have to be a scrapper to join us!  You can create anything that uses a photo (or a story you want to preserve): a layout, a mini album, home decor, etc.  So what is June's challenge?  We want to see those everyday journeys.  Create a project all about an everyday life moment or personal journey you can share. We always scrapbook the special events and about everyone else. Now it's time to have a page or two about you. Make this a fun project for the scrapbook for future generations to see that you're not just a parent, grandparent, family member, or professional scrapbooker. Show us your inner diva, or that fun flying-by-your-pants person you know you are, or the journey you walk daily to make life better for yourself.

         * Incorporate (at least one) CTMH Flip Flaps.

         * Use at least 1 photo (required).
