September Color Challenge

What's a challenge blog to do when the very last day of the month is also the Monday to introduce a new challenge?  We didn't think it would be fair to give you less than 24 hours to participate in a challenge (because all of our challenges end on the last day of the month), so instead we are giving you a peek today at our amazingly beautiful (if we do say so ourselves) September color challenge.  Tomorrow (September 1), you'll find our Design Team's inspiration with this color challenge and the InLinkz link up tool to add your beautiful creations.

Isn't this picture and color scheme lovely?  We encourage you to combine Cranberry, Sunset, Glacier, Lagoon, and Topiary, and we can't wait to see what blossoms.

Working 9 to 5 Challenge

Welcome to this week's challenge at Heart2Heart Challenges: "Working 9 to 5"!  There are so many ways to have fun with this challenge and you have this last week of the month to do it!  Do you have pictures of a home remodel job you want to show off, pictures of a kid at their first job or group photos from work?  How about a congratulations card to someone who just started a new job or a thank you card for someone who did a job for you?  Grab your CTMH papers and inks and have some FUN with this challenge!  I know our Design Team did!

Ticket to Ride

Happy Monday to all of you! Our challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart is Ticket to Ride and you are all invited to join us on our ride!  You have all month long to participate in any (or all) of this month's challenges! You need to include at least some Close To My Heart products in your projects to participate in our challenges. 

Ticket to Ride can be interpreted in many different ways - perhaps something driven, something taken for a ride, such as a roller coaster, a car or maybe even a tractor... or maybe the Beatles' song is your inspiration. There may be some other meaning that we may not even have considered - go with it and share it with us!

Welcome "Ms. August," Our Guest Designer

Please join the Heart 2 Heart Design Team in welcoming our August guest designer, Sue Reynolds!

Hello! My name is Suzanne Reynolds, originally from Buffalo, NY.  I am married with three grown children and five grandchildren. I was a part of the work force for many years, but am now retired, residing with my husband in the Phoenix Metro area along with the rest of our family.  I was a workaholic and worried what was I going to do in retirement. About 25 years ago I did  scrapbook and made Christmas cards each year so paper crafting is not new to me.   In my blog, click on the tab for Scrapbooking and see some of my old scrapbook pages from 25 years ago and note the changes and advancements of papercrafting.  

It didn’t take me long after leaving the workplace to bring out my stash of old cardstock, design papers, stamps and embellishments to share my creative side in Heart2Heart Challenges. Of course I had to get updated supplies…this was easy because my daughter is a CTMH consultant and I think I'm keeping her in business.  Sometimes a risk taker with my art, I like developing clever ways to utilize materials and trying both old and new techniques. So it is confirmed…I have transitioned from workaholic to cardaholic. Enjoy my creations this month!

When I’m not crafting, I may be sewing, or you may find me at the fitness center (not so much) or enjoying the pool... or quite possibly on a cruise or vacation.  In fact the first two weeks of August we will be traveling north to get out of the heat.
