Today we are starting a new challenge that is a lot different than the ones we have had before. We call this From Your Heart to Ours because we are going to ask you to share something that isn't artwork. This is a new feature that will pop up in our challenges every other month so you will find a From Your Heart to Ours challenge 6 times a year.
To start these challenges, we would like to ask you to share something on the theme of Organization. Maybe you are really proud of your stamping space and want to share the room with us. Or maybe, in all of your "creative disorganization" you have a fabulous way to store paper, or ink, or stamps. Whatever it may be, we challenge you to share with us. From Your Heart to Ours.
Here is a peek at what the Design Team is sharing - be sure to click on their name and follow to their blog to read all about their organization (and let me say, this challenge threw the DT for a loop as they all scurried to clean up their spaces. LOL You do not have to over-do this challenge - just think of a good organization idea that you can share with us. There is sure to be someone who will benefit from your knowledge and information)!
Now it's your turn. Let's see what kind of organization ideas you have that will inspire us all! Post photos or a description and then link your post here. Have fun - we can't wait to see what you come up with!
Ladies, you are brave to share your spaces with the world. They look great! You've got lots of great ideas and tips. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a timely challenge! I've noticed lots of cries for help on the bulletin boards...I guess the New Year's Resolutions are still getting some attention! I think this challenge will be very helpful for many people.
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing and reading about everyone's ideas. I've picked up some great ideas and look forward to seeing more. Thanks so much to everyone!
ReplyDeleteI spent the first week of January organizing my scrap room and I blogged about it! I chose one of my favorite organizing tips with the H2H challenge. I can't wait to see everyone's ideas! And Lisa - I want your room! :) Love them all.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I'm always on the look for different ideas of how to store things!
ReplyDeleteThe new type of challenge is great! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteGreat rooms!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing everyone's spaces! Thanks H2H for the challenge.
ReplyDeletejust started as a consultant with Close To My Heart at the end of September 2010. Previous to CTMH I had not EVER done scrapbooking or cardmaking, always wanted to but didn't think I was "creative" enough. Well, that has changed and I love what I do. Since I am basically brand new to CTMH I haven't collected a whole lot of product and I don't have a room where I am "set up". So, I transformed the coat closet into my storage area until I do have more product and a specified place to create, (right now it is the kitchen table). So, here is my closet. I have used a couple of old boxes to separate papers and store supplies. I also utilized a couple of baskets for embellishments etc...not much yet, but OH you wait!
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge! I had been putting off doing this but this challenge was just the incentive I needed to get my butt in gear to clean it up so it's presentable and take the photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge! It made me do that last little bit of organization that needed to be done, and I think it is great to see what can be done with the different spaces.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing everyone's ideas! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYEAHH!!! Love challenges
ReplyDeleteCool challenge -- right up my alley! I don't have a blog but I've put a link to my YouTube video of my craft room. There are 2 parts --- part 1 (duh) and part 2. Be sure to look up the part 2 video under mslieder!
ReplyDeleteWow! Just what I needed! I've been dragging my feet about starting a blog - intimidated by all the wonderfully creative people out there - but this challenge gave me the motivation I needed. I LOVE seeing everyone's creations through this blog - glad to finally contribute! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJust finished setting up my scrap area in the garage. Still a few finishing touches needed but for the most part, it's done. Will have to work in it awhile to see if it works for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making this so easy to look at each blog and so easy to link up.
ReplyDeleteLove all the great ideas! Gee, I though I had a lot of stuff. Now I don't feel so bad. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI've loved looking at everyone elses craft spaces and organization room all week. I decided I'd share mine with you all as well. Hope you find some ideas that inspire you. Great challenge Mary! =}

ReplyDeleteWell this was interesting and fun, looking at everyones creative spaces. Since my room was sort of cleaned up a bit this morning, thought why not? So here it is...
ReplyDeleteI was drooling as I looked at all the gorgeous craft spaces out there. Even though my little space isn't "pretty" or spacious, I thought I'd share for those that might be a bit afraid to share their humble spaces. We just need to make the most of what space we do have and enjoy the creating process!
ReplyDeleteOops, I put #46 on the wrong post:)
ReplyDeleteMary I am tickled pink that you added this as a challenge. So cool, I enjoy seeing where women create!! I have added my studio to the list. Back to checking everybody out!
