Christmas Week Number Three!

Thanks so much for joining us here at H2H.  This week's challenge is our third Christmas Challenge!  Christmas is getting closer and closer, so amazingly fast!  How are your preparations for Christmas coming along?  What kinds of crafty things are you doing to get ready for Christmas, are you working on cards, Christmas layouts or gifts?  Whatever it is, let your inspiration run wild and get crafty!

Time to be grateful!

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping in for this week's H2H Challenge! It's Erin here and I'm feeling all kinds of things because this will be the last time I post for the Design Team A, the end of our Design Team term is coming up and Mary Vogel, the wonderful woman who has hosted this blog and all its challenges is moving on to other joys in life as Haley and Shirley take the reins (A big THANKS to Haley and Shirley!!!).

The theme this week is Gratefulness. Thanksgiving is coming up in the US in a few weeks (we Canucks had ours back in October) and we'd like to hear and see what you're grateful for in your project this week. This week my inspiration is dedicated to Mary because I am very grateful for all the work and dedication she puts in to operating this blog and making sure we're all on track and organized, and ALWAYS with a wonderful spirit that would make you bend over backwards for her. Mary - please know that we are all grateful everything you do and that you are going to be sorely missed by all of us - past and present Design Teams!

Changes coming to H2H in 2013!

Our last challenge of the year will be mid-December and then another term of DT members will come to a close. We will start our new year up with a new team and new challenges but there will also be another BIG change!

As of the end of this year, I will be "retiring" from Heart 2 Heart Challenges. I ended 12 years as a consultant with CTMH in October and I am ready to move forward and work on some other oppoortunities in my life. Although it will be sad for me to leave the H2H family that has grown over the past few years, the good news is that H2H will have a new leadership team that will keep the challenges going in full force!

Haley Dyer will be taking over my spot and Shirley Ross will be her co-captain :) I will remain behind the scenes for awhile helping these ladies in any capacity that I can while they get comfortable with their new responsibilities. Of course, there will be a new team of designers joining them as well and the DT gals are always incredibly helpful! So I am confident that Heart to Heart will continue to be the best place for CTMH challenges in 2013!

Thank you to everyone who participates with our challenges. We hope the inspiration found here every week keeps your creative spirit alive and pushes you in new directions!

Meet our November Guest DT!

We have one more Guest DT to introduce before we wrap up the 2012 challenges - meet Alyson Mayo:

I fell in love with paper crafting about six years ago after attending a stamping party and discovered Close To My Heart not long after that. I signed up as a Consultant almost immediately after trying out the acrylic stamps and blocks! I’m very lucky to have a husband who supports my hobby 100%. I was fortunate enough to be invited to teach at the CTMH Toronto Regional Celebration and at Extravaganza for Close To My Heart’s Annual Convention this past summer and I hope to have that opportunity again in 2013 in Florida. I love searching the internet for creative ideas and I am most definitely a sketch-a-holic! Sketch challenges are my favourite challenges of all for both cards and layouts!
