Hip to be Square

It's all about the square - open or closed, to add a border or not to add a border, to layer or not to layer... Perhaps the song "Hip to be Square" by Huey Lewis and the News comes to mind - I know that is an old favourite of mine and remains in my music collection today. Maybe square means something totally different to you that we haven't even considered! 
If you choose to use the shape of a square, your project can be simply a square shape, a series of squares, interlocking squares, multiple squares or any combinations of squares that you can create. Or surprise us and do something totally different with the square theme - after all, it's "Hip to be Square" this week!

My Girl, Big Girls Don't Cry, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.... all famous song titles about girls.
How about these famous lines of poetry:
     Sugar and spice and all things nice,
     That's what little girls are made of.

The word "girls" now often refers to youngsters as well as ladies - so a "girl" theme can be interpreted may ways - go with it where you will - we love to see your creations!

Hello, Friends!

This is Laurie from Crafty Sisters Creations and I am so pleased to host the Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week!  Our theme is COPY THAT and I think it will be a really fun challenge for you all!  Simply flip through your new Annual Inspirations (like you haven't done that a million times already!) and find some artwork you especially love.  Then COPY THAT artwork!  Of course you can put your own spin on the projects and tweak them any way you'd like.

Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Florence
