Hello once again and welcome to a new H2H challenge. This week is one of our favorites - sketch week! But before we get to that, let's tie up some other loose ends.
There were not 40 players last week so unfortunately no winner of Mandy's 4 for 40 package. :( There will be one more chance this year for a 4 for 40 prize in a couple of weeks and there may even be an extra goody or two so stay tuned!
This week, we have another fabulous sponsor - Kim Harper! Kim will be sending one randomly selected player a Triple Play kit! Great prize and even makes a great holiday gift! You can visit Kim's blog at Care to Scrap? and while you're there, leave her a "hello" and a "thank you".
This is also the last week with our talented Guest DT member, Leisa. Thanks for playing along with us Leisa - we enjoyed having you on the team!
And finally, I want to let you all know that December will be a bit different as we will be taking the last part of the month off from challenges. But never fear - there is something in store so you want to check back each week to find out what we have going on. And our current DT members will be staying with me a couple more weeks but I will soon be announcing NEW DT APPLICATIONS!
Ok ready for this week's sketch? Here it is:
And here is the fabulous artwork the team created using this sketch, starting with Guest DT, Leisa -
Are you ready to get sketchy with us? Here's a reminder of how to play along. Just create your card (or other project) based on the sketch and upload it to your blog or other public online gallery. Then come back here and leave a direct link to the post below in the Mister Linky box. You just might win this week's prize or be chosen as one of our next Friday Five!
Have a creative week!

Thank YOU!
Happy Thanksgiving week! We certainly have a lot to be thankful for and here at H2H we are extremely grateful for YOU! Thanks for playing along every week and sharing your beautidul artwork with us.
My thanks also to my incredible Design Team who create such awesome projects every week - you inspire me!
This week we are all about Thanks and want to see your best Thank You card. Before we get to the DT artwork, though, we have a winner to announce from last week's challenge and that person, chosen by random draw is .....#7 Jennifer Germain! Jennifer wins the prize package from our wonderful sponsor, Mary Eisen. A bit THANK YOU to Mary for sponsoring us! Jennifer please contact me at mbryt1@bex.net with your address so I can forward it to Mary and she can send out your prize!
This is also a 4 for 40 week and our hostess this week is the lovely Ms. Mandy! And Mandy has something fun to share with you - check it out:
"With paper flowers being a big trend right now I figured this would be a perfect time to share how I make my paper flowers. Not only do handmade paper flowers look great on cards and scrapbooking layouts but they’re also perfect for home décor items. With the holidays around the corner you can easily whip up a few paper flowers, add them to a candle and viola… a great little handmade gift! So grab your Close To My Heart cardstock, ink, scallop punch, a brad and get crafting to make your own paper flower(s) to add to your Thank You card for this weeks’ challenge.
Be sure to check out the video below that shows you the step by step process to making paper flowers. Can’t wait to see what you all create."
In case this doesn't work here, you can click this link to see the video.
How freakin' cool is that? Here is one of the cards Mandy created just for her 4 for 40 week:
Thanks Mandy for sharing your artwork and super-fab tutorial with us!
Want to win a set of 4 cards from Mandy? Then get your friends and family and customers and uplines and downlines to play along this week because we need 40 players in order to award this prize!
Now on to the rest of the team's samples, starting with our uber talented Guest DT, Leisa:
Are you inspired yet? We hope so because we would love to see what you can create this week that expresses thanks. Post your project by 10 pm EST on Sunday and leave us a link here. That's all there is to it!
Have a wonderful turkey day!

Our new Guest DT!
** To find our Friday Five, please scroll down to the post below this one. Thanks!
It's time to introduce our next Guest DT who will be playing along with us during November. I am excited to introduce to you Leisa Hubley!
I’ve always been crafty but it was after the kids were born that I became a scrapbooker and cardmaker, the perfect creative outlet for me. I was introduced to stamps and ink a few years ago and that was it, I was hooked. I became a CTMH consultant so I would have access to their fantastic products and all the paper and glue I can handle. I quickly discovered how much I love to share my hobby with others and how easily friendships are created along with the layouts and cards.
I’m very excited for the chance to be a Guest DT on Heart 2 Heart Challenges. I hope you can play along with us, I’m really looking forward to seeing all of your CTMH creations."
You can visit Leisa at her blog, Big Red Scraps and her website here. Be sure to stop by and welcome her to the team. We're looking forward to her creations and we hope you are too!
See you Monday with a new challenge!
It's time to introduce our next Guest DT who will be playing along with us during November. I am excited to introduce to you Leisa Hubley!
Here is a little bit about Leisa in her own words:
"My name is Leisa Hubley and I live in Calgary, Alberta with my husband, three sons and our very spoiled fur baby named Lex. As a family, we love to travel: taking road trips to visit National Parks in Canada and the US. Some of our favorite trips have included rafting the Colorado River, whale watching off Vancouver Island and dog sledding in the Rocky Mountains. We love to see and try new things so we are always looking for our next adventure and picture-taking opportunity.

Out of Shape? We hope so!
Last week's color challenge gave everyone something to think about but there were some amazing results! Thanks to everyone that played. Our wonderful sponsor, Michelle Loncar will be sending her prize package to one randomly chosen player and that person is........#15 Rachel Holaday! Congratulations! Please email me, Rachel, with your address and I will pass it along to Michelle. And a whopping round of applause to Michelle for sponsoring! Please be sure you visit her at Show and Tell with Michelle and leave her some love!
This week we are hosting another 4 for 40 prize - this time from DT member Andrea! Here is Andrea's idea she wants to share this week - take it away, Andrea!
"One of the things that I truly enjoy about paper crafting is what I like to call “Paper Manipulation”. You don’t even have to have fancy designer paper on hand, just some good old colorful (or plain!) card stock and a little imagination to make your cards dazzle! I like to use CTMH paper because of the white core. I can distress and dry emboss CTMH papers then sand the raised portions for a two tone look. I also like to cut shapes that are a little out of the ordinary. This takes some experimenting but well worth the results when you find a design that works. I always practice on lower grade paper until I find a design that is to my satisfaction, then I break out the good stuff. Anything is possible with a little imagination and a sharp pair of scissors or cutting tool. My challenge to you is to try something different. Work outside your comfort zone and see the endless possibilities that lay before you!"
You've seen Andrea's awesome artwork and this package of goodies is sure to be incredible so get everyone you know to play because we need 40 entries in order for Andrea to send her beautiful artwork to one of you! Here's just one of the cards you could win:
This week's challenge is to create a non-rectangular or square card. Think shape! We want to see your shaped card and here are our samples to share with you! Starting off with our 4 for 40 hostess, Andrea:
Ready to try out a shape of your own? You can click any of the links under each picture above to visit the DT blogs and find out how they created their shaped cards. We can't see what you come up with! Be sure to link up your creation here by Sunday night at 10 pm EST to be eligible for Andrea's 4 for 40 artwork!
Have a wonderful - and creative - week!
